The Tradewinds Island Resort on the island of St. Pete Beach is just steps away from the white sandy beach of Florida's Gulf Coast. This beachfront setting with a hint of the Island tropics offers a colorful mix of relaxation, fun and recreation, along with friendly, four-star service and accommodations that encourage you to "just let go". Located just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, the resort is located on an 18-acre strand of sugar white beach directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Indoors, you are treated to tropical delights, such as a lush, 8,000 square foot garden atrium lined with two parallel rows of eight, 23-foot majestic palm trees, specially created for the TradeWinds Island Grand. The Island Grand is known for its meandering waterways shaded by abundant vegetation and filled with white swans and Nile Perch. Guests can wind their way through the resort area via paddleboat.
Block Rate: A number of rooms have been reserved for the conference rate of $175 plus the Resort Amenity Fee of $15*. Reservations are guaranteed by credit card number or advance deposit for first night’s stay. This rate is available until January 12, 2009.
