Employers Attending the 2011 FARS Recruiting Reception

The Financial Accounting and Reporting Section (FARS) is pleased to provide recruiting services at this year’s Mid-Year Meeting. Recruiting activities will begin with a networking event that will provide an opportunity for job seekers and employers to connect.  In addition, employers and job seekers may schedule informal interviews any time through noon on Friday, January 28th, although the conference organizers request that all interviews be completed before the conference begins so as not to detract from the research focus of the conference.

  • WHEN:  January 27th, Thursday evening from 7-9pm
  • WHERE:  Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel and Marina – Tampa, Florida 

Admission to the FARS Career Connection Recruiting Reception will bring together job seekers and employers for a catered evening of networking and opportunity. Purchase your ticket for this event by registering for the meeting Here.

Career Connection Employers

Have your job listing published in the Career Center until the end of the conference for $200.00 when choosing the FARS Career Connection Job Listing option. If you would like your ad to run beyond the date of the meeting, then you can purchase the FARS Total Access Package which will provide you with an online listing in the Career Center for 120 days and a free 150 word text ad that will run in The Accounting Review journal. When purchasing either of the FARS placement ads, your job listing will be upgraded with a Tampa Bay-themed “dolphin” icon that will be displayed next to your listing to show job seekers that you will be attending the FARS Recruiting Reception.

Career Connection Job seekers

  • Resume posting is FREE for AAA members!
  • Register for the Career Connection and your resume listing will be posted, with the FARS Tampa Bay-themed “dolphin” icon next to it, to tell employers that you will be at the Career Connection and that you are interested in meeting at the event.

  • Student Registrants: The Recruiting Reception is intended for those candidates that will be entering the job market in the 2010-11 academic year
Career Connection Users Note: In order to sign-up for the FARS Career Connection, employers and job seekers must be registered, or plan on registering, for the 2011 FARS Mid-year meeting in Tampa, Florida and the Thursday evening Recruiting Reception.

Job ad or resume already posted in the Career Center?

We will upgrade your current listing with the FARS meeting logo for FREE. If your current listing is set to expire before the meeting, we will extend your ad or resume until the end of the meeting for FREE!
