The Hyatt Regency St. Louis is located within the heart of St. Louis Union Station. As part of this National Historic landmark, the hotel reflects the grace and opulence of Romanesque architecture, and enjoys proximity to the cultural and tourist attractions. St. Louis Union Station contains a variety of specialty shops, stores and restaurants, a one-acre lake, four active train tracks, along with a number of public spaces for special events, concerts and community activities. The hotel's main lobby, formerly the Station's Grand Hall, boasts a 6-story, barrel-vaulted ceiling with Romanesque arches, magnificent stained glass windows and ornate molded ceilings. The Grand Hall has been restored to its original state and is the perfect setting to enjoy the grandeur of a bygone era. Also visit the famous "Whispering Arch" at the main entrance staircase of the Grand Hall and discover its secret.
