Independent financial training consultant Marc Gardiner, is seeking speakers for three seminars to be held in London the week of November 9, 1998. Gardiner, who specializes in the design of international accounting seminars and conferences throughout Europe and the USA, is organizing three public seminars on the topics of US GAAP and SEC Reporting for the Institute for International Research Group (IIR).

This project was prompted following the success of a one-day introductory course on US GAAP that was Offered in May as part of a series of international accounting courses. The course was presented by Coopers & Lybrand in London and attracted over 75 delegates (mostly corporate).

Gardiner's current plan is to design three separate (but related) seminars on the following topics :

• US GAAP (intermediary level)
• SEC Reporting for US Corporations (Forms 10-K, 10-Q etc.)
• SEC Reporting for Foreign Corporations (Entering the US Markets, Form 20-F etc.)

These events will be held in London over three days during the week of November 9th 1998. IIR will promote the seminars to 20,000 prospects.

Eligible speakers may be based in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe or in the United States. Anyone interested in participating as a seminar speaker should contact Marc Gardiner as early as possible.
