Executive Committee/Board

The Executive board of the Section consists of the Section President, President-elect, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer and immediate past President. It plans and sets policies for all Section activities, and coordinates the implementation of these policies by the officers and committee heads.

Specifically, the Executive Board shall aid the President in:

establishing and staffing standing and ad hoc committees as needed by the Section;
ensuring communication and coordination among regional and national Section activities;
appointing a replacement officer if an office is vacated;
reporting to the Section membership, at least annually, on major actions and activities; and
carrying out other activities specified by the Section By-laws.
