The project is a web-based tutorial for out-of-class review. It consists of a Table of Contents that links to learning modules concentrating on a specific topic. The modules are designed to look and work the same. The basic content of each module is:
The INTERNET provides an excellent opportunity for interactive, personal tutoring on a particular subject. Even impersonal responses may be made to appear more personal. Feedback can be easily and inexpensively programmed to be specific to a selected answer to a question. This capability allows for an approach closely resembling personal tutoring. E-mail capability allows the student to ask a question at the time they are working on the problem and the perceived anonymity encourages the asking.
Because the existing project is a tutorial for Accounting Principles, one of the few applicable learning experiences is learning the internet. This tutorial concept, however, can be used for any applicable learning experience. The key is in the design of the questions and answer choices.
