Registration Fee
The registration fee includes name badge (required for admission to all events), Collected Abstracts, List of Registrants, Thursday evening reception (with cash bar); continental breakfasts on Friday and Saturday, Friday luncheon, and Friday reception (with two beverage tickets). A luncheon ticket cannot be guaranteed after March 31, 2002.Cancellation Policy
The advance registration deadline is March 15, 2002. After this date, a late registration fee will be charged. All cancellations must be received in writing at the AAA in order to be processed. Cancellation requests received after March 15, 2002 will incur a $20 cancellation charge. No-shows who cancelled after April 4, 2002 will not be eligible for a refund.Conference Hotel
The conference hotel is the Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter, 10 West RiverCenter Boulevard, Covington, Kentucky. The basic room rate is $136 plus tax. Reservations may be made by telephone, (859) 261-2900. This room rate cannot be guaranteed after March 15, 2002. Please mention that you are attending the Southeast Regional Meeting of the American Accounting Association when making your reservations. The Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter is located in Covington, KY on the Ohio River and offers complimentary parking. Shuttle service from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is provided by Airport Executive Shuttle ($14 one-way, $24 round-trip); 1-800-990-8841. Bus service is available between the Airport and the hotel for $1.00 (Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky route 2X). The hotel has a free shuttle service from the hotel to downtown Cincinnati. The SouthBank Shuttle provides service to Newport and Cincinnati for $0.50 per ride.Cut-Off Date
A limited number of rooms have been reserved for Southeast Region Meeting attendees at a special conference rate of $136 from April 11–13. Our block of rooms will be held until the block is full or March 15, 2002 whichever occurs first. It is strongly recommended that attendees make hotel reservations as early as possible as rooms may not be available if the block is filled prior to the cut-off date.Web Page
