Course Title: Ethics in the Accounting Curriculum
Instructor: Ralph Welton, Clemson University

This seminar will help faculty design an effective ethics module or course in accounting, as well as a measure a direct assessment measure. Several states now require accounting ethics courses in undergraduate accounting curricula. NASBA has recommended accounting ethics instruction be added to the model accountancy act's statement of particulars. The AACSB requires accounting programs to impart an understanding of the importance of ethics and societal responsibility, as well as develop direct assessment techniques to show they are accomplishing this goal.

This seminar has not been approved by the North Carolina Board of Accountancy for ethics CPE credit.
