This year's annual meeting will be held at the Little America Hotel and Towers in Salt Lake City, Utah. Little America is one of the premier hotels in the area. All of its rooms are oversize in comparison to most hotel rooms. Each room has either one king-size bed or two queen-size beds. The hotel is conveniently located at 500 South Main Street at the southern end of the downtown business district. The free-fare zone for the Utah Transit Authority's bus system and new TRAX light rail system begin at 400 South Main Street. Both the bus and light rail systems run in front of the hotel. A free courtesy van is available between the Salt Lake International Airport and the hotel by dialing a courtesy phone adjacent to the baggage claim area.

Room rates (not including taxes) for our meeting are $129 per night for a Garden Room (in two-story appendages to the main hotel building) or $144 per night for a Tower Room (in the high-rise tower adjacent to the lobby). These rates are guaranteed only until April 10, 2000. Please note that this cutoff date is earlier than the late registration date for the meeting itself of April 15.

When registering, please be sure to identify yourself as a participant at the Western Region American Accounting Association Meeting. If you just say "AAA" you will be identified with the American Automobile Association, not our meeting.
