Hotel Information
Now in its 36th year, the annual meeting will be held at the San Jose Hilton
& Towers Hotel in San Jose, California. The San Jose Hilton & Towers is
located downtown with the City's Light Rail Station just outside the hotel. The
Hilton Hotel is about five minutes from the airport and provides a free shuttle
ride.
CUT-OFF Date: A limited number of rooms have been reserved for Western Region Meeting attendees at a special conference standard rate of $120 and $140 for a Towers room (not including taxes) from May 3-5. Our block of rooms will be held until the block is full or APRIL 1, 2001 whichever occurs first. It is strongly recommended that attendees make hotel reservations as early as possible as rooms may not be available if the block is filled prior to the cut-off date.
The hotel requires a first night's deposit refundable up until cutoff. There is an early departure fee. To avoid this fee, guests should advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in the length of stay.
When registering PLEASE be sure to identify yourself as a participant at the Western Region American Accounting Association Meeting. If you say "AAA" you will be identified with the American Automobile Association, not our meeting.
