"Python Essentials: A 3-Hour Intensive Workshop for Instructors," is tailored to empower instructors in the field of Artificial Intelligence Systems with the fundamental knowledge and skills in Python programming. With the world increasingly moving towards automation and intelligent systems, Python's role in driving these advancements has become more significant than ever. This workshop is designed to provide instructors with a comprehensive introduction to Python, ensuring they are well-equipped to integrate this powerful tool into their teaching and research endeavors.

Throughout the workshop, participants will engage in practical exercises and mini projects, applying what they have learned in real-time. This hands-on approach ensures that you gain practical experience and confidence in using Python for various Business Real Life Scenario tasks. The workshop emphasizes learning by doing, which is key, especially in a field as dynamic and practical cases.

Pre-Workshop Software Instructions

To take full advantage of the workshop, you need to download and install the prerequisite software a few days before the workshop. It will take approximately 20-30 minutes to do this. Click the button at right for links and instructions.

You will need administrative access to your computer to fully install Python, PIP, and Jupyter Notebook. Please contact your campus or organization IT department for assistance with admin access. Consider using the Google Colab option shown in the Pre-Workshop Software Instructions (button at right) as an alternative to installing software on your local computer.
