Participants will benefit from hearing insights shared from Christine Botosan's remarkable career, including her reflections, insights, and perspectives drawn from many years of experience. Given the breadth and impact of her teaching, research, service to the academy, and her work at the FASB, participants will hear reflections from her, including her thoughts on what academics may underestimate or misinterpret about standard setting, as well as how that experience influenced or reshaped her views of accounting.

Patty Dechow and Richard Sloan are prolific researchers and educators whose work has helped advance our understanding of the critical role and impact financial information has on business decision making, particularly relevant to challenges associated with investment analysis, sustainability reporting, executive compensation, and governance, among others. And, both are outstanding educators with each having served at prestigious institutions across their careers. Participants will benefit from hearing insights shared by Patty’s and Richard’s remarkable careers, including their reflections, insights, and perspectives drawn from many years of experience, with a particular focus on “Innovating for a New Generation.”
