Security and Exchange Commission Tour, Thursday, May 4, 2017

The SEC staff from the Office of Chief Accountant will provide a tour and program focused on the mission of their Office with respect to Accounting and Auditing Rule-Making and Oversight and maintaining links with accounting academia. The presentation will include information on how the SEC Academic Fellowship works and how academic research helps the Commission’s mission.

Security Requirements: Participants on the tour must provide a photo of themselves to pre-register with SEC security. The photo should be in a jpg format and sent to Jean Thompson (jean.thompson@aaahq.org) no later than April 19th. All participants must bring a government issued ID. The SEC will not be able to accommodate participants that are not pre-registered or who do not have their government issued-ID with them. All participants will be required to go through a metal detector.

Cost: $50 per person includes round trip transportation, tour, presentation and 2 CPE credit hours.
Tour is limited to 40 registered meeting attendees.

Registration for the tour will close April 19th. Onsite registration will not be available for the tour.
