2024 Call for Case Submissions
Meeting information:
The Management Accounting Section (MAS) is now accepting case submissions for presentation at the 2024 MAS/IMA Teaching Case Conference. The conference will be held September 20 – 21, 2024. The Conference will be a hybrid model hosted at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Chattanooga, TN. Presenters and attendees will be both in-person and virtual. Case submissions may include any topical area of management accounting.
The deadline for submissions is Monday June 3rd,2024, 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
IMA Educational Case Journal Consideration
Authors may choose to have their case submissions considered for publication in the IMA Education Case Journal. These cases must include teaching notes and meet the IECJ submission guidelines.
Submit your cases to Dr. Dutch Fayard at dutch-fayard@utc.edu
- Please indicate if you wish your case to be considered for the IECJ and make sure your submission meets the IECJ submission guidelines.
- Please indicate if you would like your case considered for an in-person session only, a virtual session only, or both session types.
Meeting session Information
Meeting sessions will include presentations of accepted cases and as well as informational sessions about how to write and publish cases. A limited group of cases will be selected for virtual presentation.
Early-Stage Case Session
One meeting session will be dedicated to cases in the early development stage.
Awards
The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) will recognize one outstanding case for the IMA Best Case Award.
