The study of business valuation is important for any accounting, finance, or business major, regardless of their chosen career path and while the ability to assess value is a critical skill, there remains a significant gap in fundamental principles and skills in the business valuation component of accounting and finance curricula at a large percentage of universities.
Join us as we explore how incorporating a business valuation curriculum can assist in students’ understanding the role of business valuation in economic decision-making, financial reporting, transaction planning, and litigation as well as how such a fundamental understanding of business valuation can propel a student’s career and client service capabilities, regardless of their chosen career path.
