Share the experience! #AAA2023CO
Greetings!
AAA is back live for its 2023 Annual Meeting and so is the Annual Meeting Run & Walk Group.
This year’s Annual Meeting will take place at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center located in beautiful Denver, CO.
If you want to run or walk outside during the annual meeting and blow off the treadmills, a running/walking group is being planned so that you can be assured of having other AAA people to accompany you, regardless of your pace.
The run/walk group has been a favorite for Annual Meeting attendees. Runners and walkers will show up by 5:30 am MST outside the front entrance of the Gaylord on August 7, 8 and 9.
The area around the Gaylord offers excellent options. Whatever your goal, we have others there who share that goal!

If you have any questions please contact Keith Jones at kjones5@una.edu.
Exciting news! The Tuesday, August 8th luncheon speaker is Siri Lindley, World Champion Triathlete and High-Performance Coach. We are hoping that Siri can join the run/walk group on Tuesday morning!
Siri Lindley barely knew how to swim when she began the training regimen that would lead her to conquer prestigious triathlons such as the ITU World Championships. Today, as the world’s former #1 ranked triathlete, an in-demand coach, and one of Tony Robbins favorite motivational speakers, and cancer survivor, Siri has made it her business to change lives for the better.
Siri shares fear-shattering strategies for changing the thoughts, habits, and behaviors that hold people and organizations back. With an infectious and authentic passion, she empowers audiences to strive for peak performance, work through and ultimately conquer the demons of fear and self-doubt.

Book (6/20 release), “Finding a Way: Taking the Impossible and Making It Possible.” - https://www.amazon.com/Finding-Way-Taking-Impossible-Possible/dp/1637587929
The run and walk group is open to all attendees, their family members and friends. Although the AAA supports this effort enthusiastically, it is an informal group and hence, no registration… just show up and have fun while mitigating the damage that travel can inflict on your normal fitness routine. You may meet some colleagues that you wouldn’t have met otherwise!
Get up, get out and enjoy some of the best exercise weather in the rocky mountain state.
More information to follow on routes and run group leaders!
Happy running and walking!
