Members of the Association are invited to nominate an AAA Member and/or themselves as candidates for the 2015-2016 AAA Nominations Committee. The AAA Nominations Committee selects candidates for the Board of Director officers whose names’ will be on the 2016 ballot and presented to the AAA membership for voting. Nominees will be voted on during the March Council Meeting and will serve for a one-year term beginning August 2015.
Key Leadership Roles and Responsibilities of the AAA Nominations Committee:
- Nominate and select candidates for Board of Directors positions for election by the membership in Spring 2016.
- Members of the Nominations Committee are not eligible for nomination to the Board of Directors during their term on the Nominations Committee.
- The committee consists of the two most recent Past Presidents and five members elected by Council for a one-year term beginning August 2015.
- The Committee meets once a year in late October or early November.
