2023 Joint Meeting of the Diversity and the Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Sections
October 21-23, 2023
Bethesda, Maryland

This fall, the AAA Diversity (DIV) and Teaching, Learning and Curriculum (TLC) Sections will gather together to host their Second Joint Midyear Meeting on October 20-21, 2023 in Bethesda, MD! Our two sections share a passion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion and a commitment to developing and promoting pedagogical innovations that infuse these core values throughout the accounting curriculum. We strive to make the field of accounting more welcoming for all students, faculty, and practitioners, and we recognize the crucial role that accounting academics play in preparing students to become globally conscious business leaders.

Combining our midyear meetings into one event will allow our respective section members to meet, interact, and form more meaningful personal and professional bonds. While our members will share plenary sessions, meals, and receptions, our program also will include concurrent sessions organized independently by our two sections, and participants may attend any session. We hope that you are as excited as we are to merge our DIV and TLC meetings in October, and we look forward to seeing you in Bethesda.
