Webinar Description:
The Accounting Historians Journal and the Academy of Accounting Historians section of the AAA are pleased to sponsor a research workshop webinar on February 14, 2020 and February 28, 2020. For each of those days, the webinar will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm EST.

The theme is, Generating Accounting Theory and Knowledge from Accounting History. This theme will appeal to accounting history researchers especially those using qualitative techniques.  Related papers will also be accepted for presentation.

The purpose of this research workshop is to provide detailed and insightful commentary on accounting history papers to facilitate publication in the Accounting Historians Journal and other quality journals. Each paper will be reviewed and discussed by subject experts.


The webinar on February 28, 2020 will discuss the following papers:

  • Academy of Accounting Historian Section members will be requested to submit a paper for presentation.
  • Preference with be given to papers dealing with the theme.
