The 2024 FARS Midyear Meeting of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Section (FARS) will be held in Denver, Colorado at the Hilton Denver City Center, Thursday, January 18, 2024 - Saturday, January 20, 2024 with a small virtual component  Monday, January 22, 2024.

PLENARY SESSION, January 19, 2024. 10:00 am - 11:30 am MT
Join us for the plenary session on Friday morning, where our keynote speakers—Shana Clor-Proell, Charles Lee, and Shiva Rajgopal—will discuss accounting research and its impact on practice. Omri Even-Tov from the FARS Integrating Research and Practice Committee will lead the discussion, which will cover topics such as how to find opportunities to engage with practitioners, how to write up and share research to maximize its impact, considerations for publishing practice-relevant research, and how engagement with accounting practice can benefit your own research and scholarship.
