The AAA puts on over 35 meetings a year. Listed below are the upcoming AAA meetings that would be of value to a PhD student.

Other meetings will have career services available: some meetings will have an online focused recruiting event where you connect with employers online beforehand and arrange an interview at the meeting, while other meetings have much more in depth recruiting events that have an on-site interview hall and career fair.

The two main recruiting meetings are the Career Center at the Annual Meeting in August and the Accounting PHD Rookie Recruiting and Research Camp in December.

Upcoming Doctoral Consortiums

The primary objective of the Consortium is to improve the quality of future accounting education and research by enriching the experience of doctoral candidates from U.S., Canadian and foreign universities. The Consortium provides a forum for examining accounting issues from different research perspectives. Formal and informal presentations as well as social activities provide opportunities for students to interact with today's leading teachers and researchers and with their peers from other universities.
