NOTE: State boards of accountancy and other credentialing organizations maintain specific CPE policies and have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Each meeting attendee is responsible for staying current on the CPE policies of his/her credentialing bodies.

During this webinar, you will learn about the SURE (Stimulating Urban Renewal Through Entrepreneurship) educational model and how to develop one at your institution. SURE℠ is an educational program that connects University of Houston students, under-resourced entrepreneurs, and Houston business executives for an educational experience with community impact. The goals of the program are to train students in the human-centered skills they need and to economically empower entrepreneurs in under-resourced communities.
Learning Objectives:
1. Learn how the SURE educational model develops students with the human-centered skills they need and trains entrepreneurs from the community, all inside the classroom.
2. Learn how to develop a similar program at your institution with minimal budget, by leveraging corporate, community, and academic partnerships, and using early successes to raise funds for future programming.
