Have you ever wondered how to make your research accessible for a wider audience? Please join us for an exchange of ideas with a panel of authors who have tried to do just that. The discussion will include tips on how to improve your ability to communicate academic research, value, and results to non-academic audiences. Our panel will include Mary Ellen Carter, Boston College (Moderator), Preeti Choudhary, The University of Arizona, Bill Mayew, Duke University, Shivanee Shah, Impact Science, Cactus Communications and Kristy Towry, Emory University, who have learned from their past experiences on how to communicate with non-academic audiences. There will be an opportunity for Q and A at the end of the panel discussion.
