Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: Practice Problems of Real Consequence

This panel will discuss the key findings of the articles in the Accounting Horizons special issue "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: Practice Problems of Real Consequence." These papers highlight issues of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) in accounting using a range of qualitative, experimental, and quantitative methodologies.

The panel will then offer forward-looking suggestions for both academics and practitioners on how we can contribute to the further development of DEIB in accounting.

Lastly, the panelists will discuss the two-stage proposal and final submission process that allowed authors to propose early-stage ideas that were later developed with the help of reviewer feedback.
