Chuck Hooper
BIAlytics and Tableau Zen Master

Chuck brings 5 decades of business and IT experience with him.

From 1998-2008, he was an owner of Pro Relational Systems (“PRS”), a consulting and application development firm specializing in business intelligence. 

His experiences include the analysis, design, implementation, training and support of business intelligence, data warehouse and decision support system environments in a variety of engagements for clients including: Clorox, E.&J. Gallo Winery, PepsiCo, Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), Unilever, The Broad Institute, Zeltiq, Align Technology, Harte-Hanks, Accenture, PWC, Awarepoint, Deloitte, McKesson, UMass Medical, Irish Life, UC Irvine and many others   . 

In 2005, PRS became Tableau’s first consulting partner.  In 2008, Chuck joined Tableau Software to start their Professional Services group.   In 2011, Chuck “retired”, back to the independent consulting world.

In addition to the current consulting offerings, Chuck does speaking engagements, and, conducts training sessions on the use of Tableau Software products, visual analytics, data warehouse design, and other business intelligence topics, at both the technical and the executive levels.

Bruce Behn
AAA Board Past President, University of Tennessee-Knoxville

Bruce K. Behn, Ph.D., CPA is the Past President of the American Accounting Association (2015-16), Associate Dean for Graduate and Executive Education and Deloitte LLP Professor at The University of Tennessee (UT). He joined the Department of Accounting and Information Management in 1994 after completing his doctorate at Arizona State University and served in a number of capacities over the years within the department (including Department Head) and the college. Dr. Behn has a MBA from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D., he worked for Rockwell International in Uithoorn, The Netherlands as the international financial coordinator for Allen-Bradley Europa B.V., Allen-Bradley Company as controller and financial analyst, and KPMG Peat Marwick as senior auditor. He has published articles in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Contemporary Accounting Research, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance and a number of other journals and has served as the co-editor for the Journal of International Accounting Research and the associate editor of Issues in Accounting Education. Dr. Behn recently chaired the Pathways Commission and is a past Vice-President of the American Accounting Association (AAA), past President of the International Accounting Section (AAA) and the Federation of Schools of Accountancy (FSA) and past chair of the AICPA’s Pre-certification Education Executive Committee. He has also been the recipient of a number of teaching awards including the AAA's Innovation in Accounting Education award, UT’s Alumni Outstanding Teaching award, and the Tennessee Society of CPAs Outstanding Educator of the Year.

Dr. Steven Hornik

Dr. Steven Hornik is a faculty member of the Kenneth Dixon School of Accounting at the University of Central Florida, College of Business Administration. He currently teaches Accounting Information Systems and his research interests include the effectiveness of technology mediated learning for training and higher education and the social implications of technology. Dr. Hornik has published in several journals including Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Organizational End User Computing, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Journal of Information Systems, and Issues in Accounting Education, among others. Dr. Hornik has received grants for his work with virtual world education from the University of Central Florida and U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Acquisition Center.

Lynn Clements, DBA CPA CFE CGMA

Dr. Lynn H. Clements is the Dorotha C. Tanner Chair in Ethics in Business and Economics and a Professor of Accounting at the Florida Southern College Barney Barnett School of Business & Free Enterprise.  Dr. Clements began as an adjunct instructor in 1984 and as a full-time instructor in 1990. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree at Florida Southern College, she practiced public accounting for 6 years, and then earned the Master of Business Administration degree at FSC. She has been certified as a Florida CPA since 1980, as a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) since 2004, and as a CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) since 2014. She is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Accounting Association, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Dr. Clements earned her Doctor of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University in March 2002. Dr. Clements has authored or co-authored articles that have appeared in Research on Professional Responsibility and Ethics in Accounting, Journal of Forensic Accounting, Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting, Journal of Business Issues, Journal of Business Disciplines, Management Accounting Quarterly, The Florida CPA Today, Advances in Management, Journal of Forensic Studies in Accounting and Business, Fraud Magazine, and Issues in Accounting Education. Her research interests include financial reporting, ethics, whistleblowing, and fraud, and her personal interests include family activities, reading, travel, and music.
