Call for Teaching Practice Proposals

Do you have a great teaching technique that you use in your classes? Would you like to present your idea at the meeting, and be featured as a presenter on the program? Then we invite you to submit a proposal for a 10-minute teaching tip presentation in our Best Teaching Practices Panel.

We welcome ALL educators

  • whether early-stage, or advanced
  • experienced in making dynamic presentations at meetings, or interested to learn how

to submit proposals to participate in this session. Master teacher and CTLA team member Carol Hartley, Providence College, will work with presenters to fine-tune their ideas into 10-minute, attention-grabbing presentations – and at the session, Carol will discuss how you can create a publishable article out of your unique teaching idea!

This is your chance to share with the community that great idea for how to teach a difficult concept, how to design and lead an effective group project, or how to establish a nurturing and inspiring culture in the classroom! Please submit a 250-word or less description of your teaching technique to David Boynton (david@aaahq.org) by Wednesday, June 17. Space in this session is limited, so early submissions are encouraged!
