We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Midyear Meeting of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Section (FARS) will be held at the Loews Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, January 23-25, 2025. We welcome submissions of high-quality academic papers that will allow us to compile a top-notch research program. Please choose the research track that best represents the topic of the paper, regardless of the method used (i.e., archival, analytical, experimental).
Please be aware that you will be asked whether you are interested in being considered for inclusion to a research roundtable (approximately 30 minutes to discuss your paper with a small group of scholars while sitting around a table; no discussant). It is our expectation that anyone who submits a paper will volunteer to support the review process and research program. Therefore, please also be aware that you and your co-authors will automatically be volunteered as potential reviewers, moderators, and discussants.
The deadline for submission is Monday, September 16, 2024. This is a hard deadline. There will be no extension.
Submission of papers is a two-step process:
