Call for Submissions

We are pleased to announce that the 2022 Midyear Meeting of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Section (FARS) will be held at the Hilton Denver City Center on January 20-22, 2022. We welcome submissions of high-quality academic papers that will allow us to compile a top-notch research program.
Please be aware that you will be asked for whether you are interested in being considered for inclusion to a research roundtable (approximately 30 minutes to discuss your paper with a small group of scholars while sitting around a table; no discussant). Please also be aware that you and your co-authors will immediately be volunteered as both a potential reviewer and discussant.

The deadline for submission has been extended to 11:59 PM EDT on  Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Submission of papers is a two-step process:

1. A non-refundable submission fee of $50 is required — click here to pay the submission fee.
2. To submit your paper (or to volunteer as a reviewer/discussant/moderator), please CLICK HERE to access the system using your AAA member ID and password. If you have forgotten your AAA member ID/password, click here to retrieve them. If you do not have a AAA member ID/password, please click here to obtain AAA login credentials. A blind review process will be used to select research papers to be presented at the Concurrent Research Sessions during the conference.
