2022 Joint Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions

The leadership teams of the Mid -Atlantic and Northeast Regions and the AAA regret to inform you that the 2022 Joint Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions has shifted to a virtual-only format because the conference center we planned on using was no longer able to offer us the space that we contracted for. We were unable to find another location with pricing that was at all comparable to the original location – the quotes we received were significantly higher than the original price. We know that some of you will be disappointed by this decision, and we are committed to providing you with a virtual meeting that includes innovative content in both the teaching and research areas.

Meeting Details
The virtual joint region meeting will take place on the same dates that the in-person meeting was scheduled to take place, October 20 - 22, 2022. The virtual meeting will be accessible through the AAA virtual conference site, using your Meeting registration. Information about accessing the Joint Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions conference site will be sent to registrants no later than Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Hotel Reservations
If you made your hotel reservation within the AAA room block, your reservation will be automatically canceled for you. For reservations made outside of the AAA room block, at a different hotel, or via a third-party site, you must cancel your own reservation.

We are fully committed to providing you with a great meeting and look forward to seeing all of you virtually! If you have any questions about the virtual meeting, please contact the American Accounting Association at info@aaahq.org.
