Inspiring Students to Consider an Accounting Degree

Communications and Marketing - 1.2 CH

The Intro to Accounting class is required for all business majors, but it often doesn’t inspire students to contemplate consider accounting as a career path. How can faculty showcase the interesting career paths that an accounting degree can take students, such that they give serious consideration to pursuing the major? The AAA and the Center for Audit Quality have partnered to develop and pilot a video series that illustrates human-interest stories behind the careers of former accounting students. This panel session will provide results from the pilot test that took place during the Fall Semester.
