In this interactive panel discussion, current upper-level administrators will offer guidance on pursuing leadership roles at the college and university levels. This webinar will benefit experienced department heads as well as other faculty considering associate dean, dean, vice provost, and provost roles. Panelists will discuss many topics, including how to prepare and the right time to embark on such a role, the skills and talents needed to be effective, a “typical” week in their lives, the biggest challenges they have faced, and whether and how they balance their administrative duties with their faculty duties (teaching and research).
