Revenue Management Fundamentals

In 2020 the IMA published a new Statement on Management Accounting, “Revenue Management Fundamentals.” This webinar will introduce you to that SMA and the four levers used by organizations to manage revenues. Accounting academicians who understand these levers can extend traditional management accounting curriculum and research models to incorporate a more complete view of profitability analytics.

1. Describe how revenue management fits in the classic ROI model.
2. Understand the key importance of customer segmentation to revenue growth.
3. Define the four revenue management levers.
4. Evaluate the opportunity to incorporate revenue management levers into your teaching and research.
