(Learn more about our Section HERE.)

Teaching ethics is an art not a science and can stimulate critical thinking and ethical reasoning skills. In an age where both seem to be missing in society, educators should encourage students to get out of their comfort zone and seek positive change in their behavior. We will share different approaches including using peer groups and indirect supervision, helping students to understand human behavior and pursue lifelong personal character development, and synergies between accounting ethics research and teaching accounting ethics.

Learning Objective(s): To learn about different approaches to teaching ethics to accounting students.
