2023 Accounting Information Systems Bootcamp
Harboring Innovation in AIS Education!

The Accounting Information Systems Section of the American Accounting Association is conducting an AIS Bootcamp, May 16-17 at the PwC Office in Boston, Massachusetts. This day and a two-thirds boot camp will begin on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. and conclude on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

Purpose
The accounting profession continues to evolve by adopting value-adding and cost-saving technologies at increasing speed. As the strategic importance, efficiencies, and effectiveness of these technology uses expand, the need for innovative content and learning activities both within and beyond the AIS course also expand. Each of the 2023 Bootcamp’s sessions is a partnership of faculty and professional practitioners from national accounting firms and industry partners.

Our goal is to furnish attendees with the instructional content and vetted learning activities they need to innovate their courses and programs. These sessions support the new CPA exam content and AACSB standards. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop to this conference.
