
Registration for the 2014 Annual Meeting is now closed. You will be able to register on-site, beginning on Friday, August 1st at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis - Atrium level at the on-site registration desk. There will be a $100 processing fee for all on-site registrations.
The mission of the Information Systems Section of the American Accounting Association is to create and disseminate knowledge of accounting information systems and all aspects of information technologies as they relate to accounting by promoting excellence in research, teaching, and practice. The section encourages and supports new scholars and educators in the field.

William H. Beaver
William H. Beaver is the Joan E. Horngren Professor of Accounting, Emeritus, at Stanford University. He has been at Stanford since 1969. He was a faculty member at the Univerisity of Chicago during 1965-1969. Beaver has been awarded honorary doctorate degrees by the University of Notre Dame, Norwegian School of Economics, and Athens University of Economics and Business. He internationally recognized for his innovative research on how corporate financial reports influence security prices, and was inducted into the Accouting Hall of Fame in 1996.
