In a forthcoming AAA monograph by McCarthy, Geerts, and Gal (2020), the REA (Resource-Event-Agent) model is proposed as an ontological specification of the natural kinds in commerce (who, what, when, where, why, and how) that illustrates how its concepts can be used to integrate research, teaching, and practice in accounting. |
