Vote Now! 2023 Accounting Horizons and Issues in Accounting Education Best Paper Awards

 Please take a moment to vote for each of the following Best Paper Awards:

• 2023 Accounting Horizons Best Paper Award
• 2023 Issues in Accounting Education Best Paper Award
   
• The editors of Accounting Horizons and Issues in Accounting Education selected the top five papers published in the 2022 calendar year in Horizons and Issues. Editorials written by the editors and committee reports are excluded.
• The award winners are selected from the top five papers in each journal by online voting, which is open to all members of the American Accounting Association.
• The winner(s) of the Accounting Horizons Best Paper Award and the winner(s) of the Issues in Accounting Education Best Paper Award will receive an award and $2,500 at the AAA Annual Meeting. If there are multiple winners for each Best Paper Award, the amount is divided evenly.

Instructions for Accessing the Ballot

1. You must log into your Member Portal on the AAA Website and enter your AAA Username and Password using the "Member Portal" link below.
2. Once you are logged in, you will see a list of active ballots. 

3. PLEASE NOTE: You will see two links: One for the 2023 Accounting Horizons Best Paper and one for the 2023 Issues in Accounting Education Best Paper. 

• You will need to click on each of the two links to cast your votes.

4. When you have completed each of your ballots, click the "Submit" button to cast your vote.
5. When voting in AAA elections, your vote only counts once. If you revisit the ballot link, only your most recent vote cast will count toward the final results.

When you're ready to vote, go to the Member Portal, and log in*.

The ballot is open through 11:59 pm EDT on Monday, April 17, 2023.

* If you are already logged in to your Member Portal, you can also find your Ballots by clicking on the My Account tab. Then scroll down and click on Ballots and follow Steps 3 through 5, above.
