Gary Previts

Gary J. Previts is a Distinguished University Professor Emeritus at Case Western University and a Senior Fellow with the university’s Weatherhead School of Management. He has authored or coauthored seven books and monographs and has served as an editor of the Accounting Historians Journal, Research in Accounting Regulation, and The Ohio CPA Journal. He served as president of the American Accounting Association and is a founding member of the Academy of Accounting Historians. A CPA in both Alabama and Ohio, he has served on the AICPA Governing Council and on its Board of Directors and as president of the Ohio Society of CPAs, as well as various federal and state agencies.

Robert Knechel

W. Robert Knechel is the Ernst and Young LLP Professor of Accounting in the Fisher School of Accounting at the University of Florida. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has served as the resident auditing research fellow at KPMG Peat Marwick LLP. He holds a CPA in the state of Florida and is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Florida Institute of CPAs and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Professor Knechel has served as the Chairman of the Auditing Section of the American Accounting Association and was responsible for initiating the Biannual Auditing Education Conference and the Auditing Section Mid-Year Meeting. He also is a former Senior Editor for The Accounting Review.

Gregory Waymire

Gregory Waymire is the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Accounting at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he has been a faculty member since 1990. He previously served as President of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Section and Vice-President of Research for the American Accounting Association before serving as the AAA President from 2011 to 2012.

Carolyn Callahan

Carolyn M. Callahan is the Brown-Forman Endowed Chair at the University of Louisville’s School of Accountancy. She is the university’s former College of Business Dean and Vice-Provost. Prof. Callahan holds a Ph.D. with dual emphasis (accounting and finance) from Michigan State University, East Lansing. She has served as Vice President of the American Accounting Association, Faculty Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board Advisory Council.
