How to Bring SOC Reports into your Classroom

This workshop will describe a successful four-week course module on “System and Organization Controls (SOC) Reports” included in a graduate “Seminar in Assurance Services” course. Topics covered will include lectures, student exercises, the AICPA’s SOC Suite of Services, practitioner insights into preparing and using SOC Reports, and suggestions for how these materials can be added to accounting programs elsewhere.

Learning Objective(s): Gain an understanding of how to incorporate SOC Reports into your curriculum.
