The Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Section 4th Annual Midyear Colloquium will be held in Tampa, Florida at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay on November 8 – 9, 2019.

Submissions are closed.

Teaching Track: We are accepting proposals to share best teaching practices for posters or roundtable sessions. These forums are a great way to share brief teaching ideas or technology tips. Presenters are expected to register for the TLC Midyear Colloquium within two weeks of acceptance.

To submit your Best Teaching Practices for the poster or roundtable sessions, The deadline for submissions is Thursday September 19, 2019 by 11:59 PM Eastern.

Research Track (Poster Session):   We are accepting proposals to share your research during our conference poster session.  Submissions will include your poster title and a summary of your poster presentation. The poster session submission system will not accept papers.  If you have a complete journal-ready accounting education-related research papers, case studies, teaching notes or commentaries; or a well-developed research proposal (up to data collection) that you would like to share at the conference, please submit your paper summary or brief abstract to the research track poster session.  Presenters are expected to register for the TLC Midyear Colloquium within two weeks of acceptance.

Research Paper Track:  Submissions are closed

 We invite authors to submit complete journal-ready accounting education related research papers, case studies, teaching notes or commentaries to our themed conference on Embrace the Future of Accounting Education:  “Developing a Learned Profession Through Scholarship and Teaching”. This themed conference welcomes all views on the scholarship and art of teaching in accounting with all types of articles, empirical, theoretical, case studies, autobiographical, or opinion pieces being considered. We also invite reviewers to volunteer to review submitted manuscripts (reviewers must perform a journal quality review and be willing to present their review if their reviewed manuscript is accepted for presentation). Authors and reviewers are expected to register for the TLC Midyear Colloquium within two weeks of acceptance.
