Chris Anstine

Chris Anstine

Chris has provided professional audit services to entities in the TMT and retail industries. His roles on engagement teams included responsibilities for planning, execution, and delivery of audit services to organizations in accordance with U.S. GAAP, FASB and U.S. GAAS standards on several public and private companies. His responsibilities have also included review of SEC quarterly and annual filings.

Chris has experience with the audit and financial accounting principles for global public TMT organizations including the accounting for revenue, goodwill, equity, software and fixed assets. He also has experience in accounting topics related to purchase price allocations, as well as with the presentation of discontinued operations. In addition to financial statement audits, Chris also has knowledge and experience with planning and execution of internal control testing for publicly traded TMT and retail companies, including management review controls, financial reporting and process level controls.

Chris completed a two-year rotation with KPMG the Netherlands, where he worked as a manager on audit engagements, as well as performing a role in the US Accounting and Reporting Group which has capital markets oversight and involvement with an aim to ensure US SEC and PCAOB requirements are met. His role required teaching US Audit Update and ICOFR Baseline trainings to partners and managers in the foreign firm.


Randa Barsoum

Randa Barsoum is a tax partner with PwC US Tax located in New York. Randa leads the national federal energy tax credits team advising clients on the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) tax credits, including investment and production tax credits, section 48C, hydrogen production and carbon capture.

Randa has over 28 years of experience advising clients in both financial and non-financial industries. Throughout her career Randa has advised clients with both U.S. based, and non-U.S. based operations in the areas of tax planning, income tax accounting, like-kind exchange (LKE), Leasing, Fixed Assets consulting, including Tax Depreciation Services (TDS), and global information reporting.


Khrystyna Bochkay

Khrystyna Bochkay

Khrystyna Bochkay is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Miami (UM) and serves as an Academic Advisor to the technical staff at the International Sustainability Standards Board within the IFRS Foundation.

Her research interests include financial and sustainability reporting, capital markets, forecasting, investor behavior, textual analysis, and artificial intelligence. Recently, she has examined companies' voluntary adoption of sustainability standards and the current state of sustainability reporting.

Khrystyna's research has been published in leading academic journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, and Foundations and Trends in Accounting. Her work has also been presented at leading accounting conferences and workshops in the US and globally and featured in various media articles and podcasts.


Erik M. Causey

Erik M. Causey is a Partner in KPMG LLP’s Audit practice. Erik has more than 19 years of experience providing financial statement audits for clients in the industries of banking/ capital markets and federal government, among others.

Erik has provided financial and employee benefit plan audit services to clients of various sizes, including large multinational corporations, cabinet-level federal agencies, privately held corporations and not-for-profits. These audits have been in accordance with PCAOB, AICPA and government auditing standards.

Erik served as reviewer in the KPMG audit quality inspection program monitoring of whether KPMG audit teams performed audits according to standards.

Erik completed several rotations, including an international rotation in the London financial services audit practice and a rotation in KPMG’s National Training office.

Erik is a participant in the KPMG Leadership Advantage Cornell Development program and the AICPA Leadership Academy. He is a national facilitator on technical accounting courses.  Erik is a partner champion for the African Ancestry Business Resource Group and serves as the Civic Board Chairman, The Fishing School and Victory Youth Center

Erik received his BBA and MBA from Howard University.  He is a licensed CPA I DC, NC and VA and is a Certified Global Management Accountant.  He holds an executive certificate in advancing Sustainability from the New York University Center for Sustainable Business.  He is a member of the AICPA, Greater Washington Society of CPA’s and NABA.


Corinne Dougherty

Corinne Dougherty is the Sustainability Audit Leader for KPMG in the US. Based in Washington, DC, she has significant experience providing sustainability reporting and assurance services coupled with over 20 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to clients. This extensive background positions her at the intersection of sustainability strategy and reporting, where she frequently engages with the media and clients to provide insightful education and practical guidance.

In her role, Corinne spearheads initiatives to upskill KPMG professionals in sustainability, driving the integration of sustainable practices across all of KPMG’s services. Her commitment to education extends beyond KPMG; she served as an adjunct professor for four years, teaching graduate courses in the Masters of Accountancy program at The George Washington University.

Corinne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant. She also earned an Executive Certificate in Advancing Sustainability from NYU Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business, underscoring her dedication to advancing sustainability in the business world.


Kristen A. Gray

As EY Americas Sustainability Tax & Law Leader, Kristen provides strategic counsel to clients around the intersection of Tax and environmental, social and governance matters. Kristen works with colleagues across the firm to help clients identify and evaluate Sustainability funding opportunities and ESG reporting requirements and to infuse Tax into Sustainability strategies.​

Kristen has more than twenty years of experience advising large multinational companies across various industries, including life sciences, technology, energy, and media and entertainment. ​

Prior to her Americas Sustainability Tax Leader role, Kristen served as a Partner in EY’s Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services practice in New York and as the EY US East region co-source tax accounting services leader. In that role, Kristen worked with clients to optimize and transform tax accounting and reporting operations leveraging new technologies and working with teams in the US and in global centers of excellence. ​

Kristen is a frequent presenter at EY's Annual Health Sciences Tax Conference and has been a guest lecturer at New York University School of Law, University of Notre Dame Mendoza Business School, Fordham Business School and Baruch College.​

Kristen was recently named one of Crain’s New York Business Notable Leaders in Accounting, Tax & Audit and Forbes Americas Top 200 CPAs.​

Kristen received both her Bachelor and Master of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and a member of the AICPA and the NY State Society of Certified Public Accountants. ​

Kristen holds a Tax certification from the Global Reporting Initiative, an independent, international organization that provides the world’s most widely used standards for sustainability reporting.​

Chris serves on the board of Land Betterment, the Ray C Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at Georgia Tech and Hub404 – a transformative green space development project in Atlanta.

Jeffrey Hales

Jeffrey Hales teaches global corporate sustainability at the University of Texas at Austin, where he holds the Bake Chair in Global Sustainability Leadership, is the Charles T. Zlatkovich Centennial Professor of Accounting, and serves as the Executive Director of the Global Sustainability Leadership Institute.

He is a graduate of the accounting program at Brigham Young University and received his Ph.D. from Cornell University. His research interests center on accounting standard setting and regulation, individual decision making, and behavioral finance, using techniques from applied game theory, experimental economics, and psychology. His research has appeared in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research , Journal of Accounting and Economics, and the Journal of Financial Economics, among other journals. He has served in editorial capacities at several journals, including editorial terms at Contemporary Accounting Research and Accounting Horizons.

Since July 2022, he has served on the International Sustainability Standards Board. From 2012 to 2022, he served in various leadership capacities at the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), including as Chair of the SASB Standards Board. During 2009-10, he was a Research Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) in Norwalk, CT, and served as a member of the FASB’s Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council from 2016-2019.


Kristen B. Sullivan

Kristen B. Sullivan is an Audit & Assurance partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP and serves as the Sustainability Services Marketplace leader. She also serves as the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited’s Global A&A Sustainability Clients & Markets Leader and the Integrated Reporting Community of Practice Leader. Kristen brings extensive experience in delivering sustainability risk assessment, governance, strategy alignment, measurement, reporting, and assurance services. 

Given the growing market emphasis on the importance of ESG standards and frameworks, Kristen serves as a member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Community, she chairs the AICPA Sustainability Advisory and Assurance Task Force and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)/AICPA Task Force. In regards to the state of California’s climate legislation, she serves on the CalCPA Environmental Reporting and Assurance Implementation Working Group. And she previously served on the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) Working Group.

Kristen has authored a number of publications around the importance of sustainability and ESG disclosure and assurance. She was named a 2024 Women in Sustainability Leadership Award winner, #23 on the 2023 Onalytica top 50 ESG influencers list, recognized as an ESG, Diversity, and Climate Trailblazer as part of Diligent’s 2023 Modern Governance 100 nominees, and #10 on the 2020 Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leaders list.

Kristen has more than 28 years of experience with Deloitte, beginning her career in Deloitte’s Audit and Advisory Services, working in Deloitte’s National Office in several capacities, and working with the deputy CEO of Deloitte & Touche LLP focused on regulatory and public policy matters. Kristen is a CPA (CT, MO) and CGMA and earned SASB’s Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential. Kristen completed the Berkeley Law Executive Education Certification: ESG: Navigating the Board’s Role and the Diligent Institute Climate Leadership Certification.
Kristen is a member of the Financial Women’s Association and lives in Greenwich, CT, with her six-year-old daughter.
