Piedmont Park and Atlanta Botanical Garden Tour

The Piedmont Park Conservancy is a nonprofit organization working to enhance and preserve historic Piedmont Park, a vital urban green space with cultural and recreational resources. The Conservancy has successfully restored the historic portion of Piedmont Park by investing more than $60 million for park beautification. It has added 53 acres of reclaimed woodlands, creeks and open green space to the Park. It has also renovated buildings, planted trees, and installed beautiful amenities, including water fountains, benches and swings. The Piedmont Park Conservancy has successfully transformed the once dilapidated Park into the most visited green space in Atlanta.


The new Atlanta Botanical Garden is located adjacent to Piedmont Park. As a cultural center for the community, it is the perfect destination for connecting with beauty and the natural world. Renowned plant collections, beautiful displays and spectacular exhibitions make the Garden a lovely place to visit. This urban oasis includes 30 acres of outdoor gardens. Every spring the Garden explodes into a colorful extravaganza of tens of thousands of tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, crocus, and other bulbs. The bulbs enhance existing displays to create electrified meadows of color.
