Episode 21: January 2026
This month, we highlight an important update to the AAA’s journal ethics policy, including new guidance on the appropriate use of artificial intelligence by authors, editors, and reviewers. We also introduce the 2026–2027 Board of Directors candidates and encourage members to get to know each candidate ahead of the upcoming election later this month. Nominations are now open for the 2026 AAA Awards, with submissions due January 31, 2026—an opportunity to recognize outstanding contributions across accounting education, research, and practice. In addition, the call for nominations for the 2026–2027 AAA Nominations Committee is now open. Looking ahead, we preview January’s section midyear meetings, and share reminders about submissions for AAA Global Connect and registration for the 2026 Beta Alpha Psi Midyear Meetings.
