About the Conference

This co-sponsored conference will provide a forum for the presentation of academic research studies that produce insights into whether the FASB and/or IASB standards on revenue recognition (Topic 606 and IFRS 15), leases (Topic 842 and IFRS 16), and financial instruments (Topic 326 and IFRS 9) have: (i) accomplished their stated objectives, (ii) provided benefits to users of financial information, (iii) resulted in unexpected implementation or continuing application costs, or (iv) given rise to unexpected economic consequences. Research that examines the impact of similarities or differences between US GAAP and IFRS Standards in these areas is also appropriate.

To receive the Certificate of Completion for CPE credit for this meeting, please follow these important steps:

In-Person Attendee

• Open the AAA Annual Meeting app on your smartphone or tablet.
• Click on the Agenda Icon.
• Select the session you are attending.
• Locate the “Check In” Icon within your session and tap on it.
• You will be asked to enable your camera, choose “Allow”.
• Scan the QR code displayed in the back of the room to check-in and check-out.
Note: The “Check In” Icon will NOT appear until the session begins.

At any time, you can return to the dashboard and tap on the "Sessions Scanned" icon to check your scans have been successfully completed.
To be awarded the full credit hours you must check-in via the Meeting app and fill out the CPE Verification Form.

Make sure that your first and last name appear as your screen name. You can rename yourself by clicking in the top right corner of your video and clicking “Rename.”
Verify your attendance in each session by responding to the poll questions posted periodically during the event. Eligibility for CPE credit requires that attendees be engaged with the content throughout the entirety of the session.
