Chuck Bamford is the Managing Partner at Bamford Associates, LLC, a Strategy Advising Firm he founded in 2013 that is focused on: 1) Demystifying Strategy; 2) Making Strategy Practical; 3) Helping Organizations attain their ‘UNFAIR’ share of customers / donors / supporters; AND 4) Having a Positive IMPACT on Society

Chuck led both M&A and Corporate Training groups for twelve years prior to pursuing his Ph.D. He is the author of six books including The Strategy Mindset 2.0 as well as being the lead author for the influential textbook: Strategic Management & Business Policy – 16th edition (Pearson) & Entrepreneurship: The Art, Science & Process for Success – 4th edition (McGraw-Hill)

Chuck is a regular speaker at Conferences, Leadership Meetings, Trade Shows, Corporate events & Conventions – Delivering more than 30 presentations & webinars a year. He is also the author of the fiction novel “ Some Things are Never Forgiven.

Chuck has published scholarly articles in the top academic journals in the fields of Strategy and Entrepreneurship including: Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Small Business Management , and Journal of Business Strategies among others.

He has completed engagements with over 160 organizations. Since 2016 he has been an Adjunct Professor of Strategy at Duke University (Fuqua) teaching in both the MBA and EMBA programs. He was previously a Professor or Adjunct Professor at the University of Notre Dame, University of Richmond , Texas Christian University (Tenured), and Tulane University among others. He has been honored with 22 Professor of the Year Awards, is a Noble Foundation Fellow in Teaching Excellence and a Poets & Quants EMBA Favorite Professor.

Chuck earned his A.S. degree from Northern Virginia Community College , a B.S. degree at the University of Virginia (McIntire School of Commerce) , an MBA at Virginia Tech (Finance) and a Ph.D. (Highest Honors) in Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee.
