- Open the AAA Auditing Section Midyear Meeting app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Click on the Agenda Icon.
- Select the session you are attending.
- Locate the “Check In” Icon within your session and tap on it.
- You will be asked to enable your camera, choose “Allow”.
- Scan the QR code displayed in the back of the room to check-in and check-out.
Note: The “Check In” Icon will NOT appear until the session begins.
At any time, you can return to the dashboard and tap on the "Sessions Scanned" icon to check your scans have been successfully completed.
To be awarded the full credit hours you must check-in via the Meeting app and fill out the CPE Verification Form.
- Save the completed form to your computer.
- Email the completed form to (cpe@aaahq.org)
Learning Objectives for the Midyear Meeting to include:
- Learn about the latest academic research in auditing.
- Understand the impact of emerging technologies on audit practice.
- Recognize the impact of regulatory policies on audit firms and their clients.
- Learn about methodological best practices and pitfalls in audit research.
- Identify factors that impact culture in the classroom and in practice.
Learning Objectives for the Excellence in Auditing Education Workshop to include:
- Understand auditors' mindsets and skillsets and skillsets are important for taday's audits (e.gl, ethical, analytical, and innovation mindsets and skillsets).
- Develop an approach to teaching ethics in the classroom
- Use process mining to:
- Understand process flows, evaluate internal controls and inform risk assessments
- Look for process improvements, understand the costs of different activities (in term of dollars and time), etc.
- See if enterprise resource planning processes and controls are functioning correctly
Learning Objectives for the Auditing Section Doctoral Consortium to include:
- Develop an understanding of promising research topics
- Engage others to broaden your research and teaching networks
- Learn ways to improve your success as a PhD student and faculty

Information: The total number of CPE Credits is to be determined.

Cancellation requests received after December 12, 2022, will incur a $50 cancellation charge. No refunds will be available for no-shows or cancellations received after January 2, 2023.
