Call for Junior Faculty Participation in Junior Faculty Mentoring Breakfast

The AAA International Accounting Section (IAS) Research Committee invites expressions of interest from junior faculty for a Faculty Mentoring Breakfast on Saturday, January 25th, 2020  at 7:00 a.m., to be held in conjunction with the 2020 Joint Midyear Meeting of the AIS, SET and International (IAS) Sections in Orlando, FL.

Purpose: The purpose of the mentoring breakfast is to provide junior faculty an opportunity to receive feedback from a senior faculty member on a research proposal or early working paper.

Eligibility: Full-time untenured tenure-track International Accounting Section (IAS) members who have completed a doctoral degree are eligible to register. Registration is limited and on a first-come first-serve basis.

Junior Faculty Deliverable. Junior faculty members participating in the mentoring session will submit 1) CV and 2) proposal (2-4 pages) or early working paper by December 19, 2019. Research proposals should include a well-defined research question and a description of the methodology used to answer the research question. E-mail documents to the Chair of AAA IAS Research Committee, David Godsell, at dgodsell@illinois.edu. These documents are not  required to sign up for the mentoring session, but are due by December 19, 2019.
