The 2023 ABO Doctoral Consortium will be held in conjunction with the 2023 ABO Research Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown. The Consortium is designed for PhD students interested in conducting behavioral research.

We will host a welcome reception for participating doctoral students and faculty members on Thursday, October 12, at 6:00 pm. The Consortium will take place on Friday, October 13, from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm (immediately prior to the ABO Research Conference). 

Please complete the application form by Friday, July 28, 2023. Since space might be limited and, if necessary, priority will be given to more senior students and students who did not attend prior in-person consortiums. Acceptance decisions will be sent out by Friday, August 11, 2023. Students wishing to attend the ABO Research Conference will need to register separately for the conference.

The Consortium is free for student members of the AAA. However, students need to be an American Accounting Association (AAA) member to apply. If you have not yet joined the AAA as a student member, you may do so at: http://aaahq.org/Membership. Please do this before applying to the Consortium. You will need your AAA Member number for the application.

The ABO Doctoral Consortium provides an exciting opportunity to bring together new and established behavioral researchers to exchange ideas, share experiences and build connections. We hope that you will join us this October.
