IMA Doctoral Colloquium
The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is sponsoring the 29th Annual IMA Doctoral Colloquium in Nashville, Tennessee at the Embassy Suites, Nashville Downtown on Thursday, January 8, 2026. The Colloquium starts with a welcome reception on Wednesday evening, January 7, 2026.
To apply to the Doctoral Colloquium, please complete the application form below. We encourage doctoral students at any stage in their degree to apply. However, space might be limited and, if necessary, priority will be given to more senior students. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2025.
The Colloquium is complimentary to accepted MAS Students. In addition, lodging costs for one night’s stay (Wednesday, January 7, 2026) at the conference hotel may be reimbursed by the American Accounting Association (AAA) subject to funding availability—if a participant shares a room with another participant, the reimbursable lodging costs will be for two nights’ stay (Wednesday, January 7 and Thursday, January 8, 2026). Acceptance and reimbursement decisions/instructions will be sent out by October 15, 2025.
