Journal of Emerging Technologies in Accounting Conference
JETA, the research journal of the Strategic and Emerging Technologies section of AAA, invites paper submissions for its annual research conference, JETAC. The conference provides scholars in accounting and related disciplines with a platform to explore and assess the impacts of emerging technologies on accounting research and practice. Suggested topics cover a broad range, including large language models and generative AI, data and analytics in accounting and auditing, continuous auditing, blockchain, robotic process automation (RPA), Internet of Things (IoT) in accounting, smart contracts and digital currencies, and natural language processing (NLP) applied to accounting. Featuring a 17-year history and indexing in both SCOPUS and ESCI, JETA is a respected publication for academics seeking to showcase their current research among experts in their field. Submit your research directly to Daniel E. O'Leary (oleary@usc.edu) with the subject line 'JETA-C'. Authors must include the subject line indicator. Papers accepted for the JETA conference will need to be submitted to the JETA paper submission system after the midyear meeting, along with the paper submission fee. Authors will be expected to revise their papers to include editor, referee and attendee comments. The deadline for paper submissions will be September 30. Published papers will appear as part of a special section in JETA.
NOTE: All submissions will be subject to a blind review process. Therefore, submitted documents should NOT include a title page or any author identifying information. Submitting authors will be asked to copy/paste an abstract of the paper (200-400 words) into a form field, separately from the submitted document. Authors will be listed in the printed program in the order they are entered during the online submission process. PDF is the preferred format for paper submissions.
